The Umbrella Jet creates a transparent, bell-shaped sheet of water through a fully laminar flow at the outlet—giving the jet its distinctive name. The resulting flow is both crystalline and smooth, offering minimal wind resistance, though this may vary depending on the thickness of the water film.

Thanks to its low operating speed, the Umbrella Jet produces very little noise, making it especially suitable for indoor fountain installations.

Since its performance is not affected by the water level in the fountain basin, it is recommended to set the jet at a height where the water sheet remains unbroken upon falling.
